Welcome to Red Alert Parent Organization! As with all things robotics, we have our own acronym which is RARPO. We are the community of parental units that help support the awesome work done by our kids. RARPO is a 501(c)(3) organization made up of parents of the students on FIRST Team 1741 Red Alert Robotics and associated FTC teams. Our mission is to support the team with fundraising and all other forms of support necessary. We appreciate all the time and countless miles you put into making sure they are here, especially during Build Season.
We need your involvement!
It takes a large village to keep us running year-round. There are many opportunities with varying time commitments, we hope you will consider getting involved by:
- Attend one of our parent meetings (Fall and Spring)
- Serving on the RARPO Board
- Volunteering to bring a Saturday Lunch during build season (FRC)
- Donating drinks/sodas/snacks—these kids eat a lot 7 days a week and we always can use water, Gatorade, snacks. They eat anything—next time you are at Sams, throw in an extra case of water or chips if you can!
- Volunteering for a shift at one of the tournaments we host
- Donating drinks for one of the tournaments we host
- Helping find sponsors/donors (we will do the heavy lifting if you can get us an “in”).
- Cheering us on at tournaments!
